Thank you! And yes! Basically, I feel like people love Farscape for two core things. Sci-Fi and shipping. I love it for both, but mostly the shipping. Sci-fi isn’t everyone’s cup of tea, but if you are into loving a show for its characters and the relationships John and Aeryn are legitimately THE most incredible relationship I’ve ever come across on television, and Aeryn is hands down, one of my favorite characters ever written. It’s dark and angsty and heartbreaking, but it’s all done SO WELL, and completely worth it. The chemistry is unmatched to anything I’ve ever seen. Starting out, I won’t lie, the sci-fi elements can seem a tad cheesy, and the first season is a bit slow, trying to find its footing, but by mid S2, it picks up and just is incredible from that point on, and only continues to get better. Unfortunately the show was canceled quite unexpectedly at the end of S4, but the fans fought so hard, they eventually produced a mini-series The Peacekeeper Wars to end it properly.
