I don't think I can adequately describe what is going on at the Rays stadium. OMG.

Hmm. I wonder if they'll notice that I have blue toenails at the staff meeting tomorrow. The school board might frown on that. Oops. But I've gotta go straight to the Rays game after work, so...one for the team, right? :P
The next few days are going to be INSANE busy for me, so I'll probably be MIA except for some phone updates or photos I can squeeze in on the run.
Um. of course it’s a classic. (This the book where in trying to kill the ant he ends up destroying the house with pipes bursting everywhere and whatnot right?) People just don’t know kid lit anymore. I had to explain Make Way for Ducklings yesterday.
OMG. THANK YOU! This school is all about character education and we’re always trying to teach the kids to let go of the “little things” that don’t matter, so I was kinda shocked that they didn’t have this book on their list of literary education tools. LOL On the plus side, I’ll earn brownie points for introducing a new/old classic that falls perfectly within our unit of study. ;)

So IMDb’s page on Jennifer Garner talks about how she catapulted into stardom after Alias. (Forgive me for my lack of knowledge; my exposure to Jennifer Garner is, um, 13 Going On 30, and YES, I need to rectify this IMMEDIATELY by watching Alias and Daredevil.)

OMG. YOU DO. Jennifer Garner is just. Pure fandom kickass awesomeness. People ADORED her and girl!crushed on her for being kickass on screen, but pure genuine kindheartedness behind the scenes. Basically she had the kind of following Stana does now, but like 20 times that, and massive amounts of guys, too b/c she brought the spy/espionage sexiness from Alias. lol IMO, Daredevil wouldn’t have had nearly the success it did if it wasn’t for that fact that it brought all of those fans trailing after her…which when it was released, Alias was like in its prime and the height of S2. It was CRAZY exciting! And part of the awesomeness of 13 Going on 30 was that before JG fans had seen that movie, we had ONLY ever really seen her in kickass type roles. So seeing her as this fun, loving, bubbly, 13 year old was even MORE fun. But yes. WATCH ALIAS. NGL, the show declines toward the end, but S1-S3 are MORE THAN worth it! <3
Sorry for rambling! I just haven’t really fangirled about JG, Alias, OR Elektra in yeaaars, and Castle brought it all back in ONE NIGHT! lol
