Sorry to hear you have to go through the pain of finding a new job, but at least you’re out of this one. Does this mean you get out of post-classes work too? Make sure to kick back and relax some before entering the crazy world of job hunters.
Yeah, they told me to basically come to the seminars and stuff that I feel like would be beneficial to me, and skip the other pointless meetings. So YAY. My biggest concern was being able to get my CPR renewed without having to pay for it myself, so that’s a huge relief.
that badass!beckett attitude would be freaking awesome, but unfortunately it’s not the right option for our economic situation lol I really hope you don’t get fired!
Well, it a situation where I’m pretty sure they’re not going to have enough students next year (it’s a private school) for me to need a job. I could be totally wrong, but my gut says that’s what’s going on. Plus I wanted to make my move to the public school system anyway, so. It wouldn’t be the worst thing in the world. I have a tendency to drag my foot and wallow in my comfort zone when it comes to making new changes, so sometimes being without a job is the best thing for me. Really sets me on fire to get out there and do something about it.
So I get to go in to work at 8 tomorrow....aaaand basically find out if I'm getting laid off or not. LOL
It’s ok, though. The weekend was enough to let me realize it’s what I want anyway. I’ve got the motivation now to get my butt out there and find a new, HIGHER PAYING job. This is a good thing. Not to mention if I AM being laid off, that means I can get out of post-planning a whole week early. :P
Now watch it not be about being laid off. Watch this meeting end up being some stupid little thing I had no clue about. Then I’m gonna be stuck not knowing what to say.
